Arcadia Building Recognized with CoStar’s Redevelopment of the Year Award

3/26/2025 — The Arcadia Building has been honored with CoStar’s Redevelopment of the Year award, a prestigious recognition celebrating the project’s significant impact on the Des Moines commercial real estate landscape. As part of the CoStar Impact Awards, this award celebrates the most innovative and transformative real estate projects of 2024 across 129 major markets in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The redevelopment of the Arcadia Building has redefined the standards for commercial properties, blending modern design and people-first amenities. The building is now home to leading customers like ITA Group and Holmes Murphy, with ITA’s relocation of 152,000 square feet and Holmes Murphy’s expansion of 75,000 square feet. These moves underscore the building’s status as a top choice for forward-thinking companies.

Inside, the building offers state-of-the-art amenities designed to foster collaboration and productivity. Features include a stunning 32-foot-audio-video wall, an executive conference room, training spaces, wellness rooms, outdoor collaboration areas, pickleball courts, game lounge, and more. Sustainability was a key focus throughout the redevelopment, with energy-efficient systems and electric vehicle charging stations enhancing the building’s eco-friendly credentials.

The success of the Arcadia Building’s transformation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of R&R Realty Group, ITA Group, and the City of West Des Moines, who worked together to bring this visionary project to life.

The Costar Redevelopment of the Year award solidifies the Arcadia Building’s position as a leader in reshaping the future of office design and setting new benchmarks in the Midwest real estate market.
