Women of R&R Build Together with Habitat for Humanity

9/6/2023 - A remarkable group of women from R&R Realty Group recently teamed up to take part in a Women Build initiative with Habitat for Humanity. Armed with tools and determination, these women took on various tasks to transform the house into a welcoming home for the soon-to-be owner, Blessed, and her three children. Projects completed by the team ranged from installing shelving and rods in closets to hanging mirrors, fitting doorknobs, cleaning vents, installing transition pieces, and conducting a thorough cleanup.

The journey for this house began in May 2023, and the culmination of their hard work will allow Blessed to realize her dream of homeownership through an affordable mortgage, providing stability and hope for her family’s future.

The Women Build initiative is not just about constructing houses; it’s about building a stronger, more inclusive community. This group of R&R women have proven that with their teamwork and drive, they can empower women to take the lead in making affordable homeownership a reality.
