Both offer a high quality of life with short commutes, welcoming communities, and vibrant downtowns featuring arts, dining, and easy access to activities.

When not working, most likely to be found outside playing sports or traveling.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

Des Moines/Omaha are complementary communities that offer both residents and businesses a solid foundation for growth and prosperity.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

When not working with or on behalf of our customers, I am typically spending time with my family. I enjoy working in the yard, golfing, and traveling with my wife and friends.

How do you give back to your community?

Some of my favorite opportunities to give back involve providing mentorship to aspiring professionals, lending a hand to those in need, or supporting the arts and music in my local community.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

Omaha is a city with strong career opportunities, affordable and place with many entertainment opportunities. Strong midwest values and schools make it a great place to raise a family.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

Outside of work I enjoy outdoor activities such as hunting, running/hiking, traveling, playing golf and managing my farm. I also enjoy cooking and entertaining at our home with my wife.ertaining guests

How do you give back to your community?

Omaha is a very philanthropic community that provides many opportunities to give back. Over the years I have served on the boards of many professional, civic and health & human services organizations.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

In Des Moines community leaders are always willing to spend time mentoring and assisting rising leaders, and that makes Des Moines a welcoming place to develop business.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

Running on Urbandale trails, golfing, working in my yard

How do you give back to your community?

Volunteering with different organizations, raising money for worthy causes, and participating in as many charity events as I can.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

The community offers a very affordable cost of living, is family friendly and welcoming.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

In my free time, I enjoy walking our dog, tending flower beds and watching my kids in their activities.

How do you give back to your community?

I enjoy volunteering at Valley Church in the children’s ministry and helping my husband coach basketball at Valley Community Center

The Des Moines metro offers a blend of community events and a welcoming culture that help families feel rooted. There are stable employment opportunities and economic growth that provide opportunities for a healthy life balance.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

I am most likely spending time with friends & family, being active, and chasing around the activities of any of our 5 kids!

How do you give back to your community?

I like to participate in community events and drives, with a special focus on local non-profits that give back to and provide for the children in the community.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

Iowa and Nebraska markets prioritize personal character and integrity. We see it with our customers and the vendors we use to serve them.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

My wife and three children are all Iowa State alumni, so we follow football and basketball programs. I also enjoy fitness classes with my wife as well as golfing, beer league hockey, and mountain recreation (fishing and skiing).

How do you give back to the your community?

Past board involvement with Ellipsis and current BOD at Holy Family School have kept me close to endeavors that support youth education, safety and wellness in our community.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

I love to work and live in the Des Moines area because of its growth and ongoing changes. The people of Des Moines are wonderful and work together to continue to always make it a better place.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

I love to spend time with my family. I also play a lot of pickleball.

How do you give back to your community?

I really enjoy mentoring and helping people who want to grow. I have served on a number of community boards, including, UnityPoint Health – Des Moines Foundation, Waukee Community Schools Foundation and Make-A-Wish Iowa.

Des Moines is an exceptional place to raise a family, with a strong sense of community, great schools, and a quality of life that allows people to succeed professionally and personally.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with family and friends, playing golf or pickleball, and following Iowa State athletics. I also enjoy being outdoors and staying active in the community.

How do you give back to your community?

I stay actively involved in the Des Moines community through board service and civic leadership, including organizations focused on philanthropy, economic development, and education.

Des Moines offers the rare combination of a hardworking, highly professional business community with the collaborative, small-town culture. Residents and business leaders alike generously invest their time, talent, and resources to make the community an exceptional place to live, work, and grow.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active – whether on the golf course, pickleball court, or traveling with my wife. I also value spending quality time with friends and family

How do you give back to your community?

I’m passionate about supporting underprivileged youth through community involvement and philanthropy. As a 25-year member of the Contributors Breakfast Club, I helped establish the CBC Foundation to formalize our giving, which now supports more than 25 local charities primarily on at-risk and underprivileged youth.

Des Moines is a great place to work and live because of its people. Driven professionals who value relationships as much as results.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

I enjoy staying active. Spending time outdoors playing golf and attending Iowa State sporting events.

How do you give back to your community?

I give back to the Des Moines community by serving on nonprofit boards where I can contribute leadership, strategy, and resources to organizations making a meaningful impact.

What makes your community a great place to work and live?

In Des Moines you are able to have access to bigger city lifestyle, work in a place with strong economic growth and great midwest values, and short commute times.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

Coaching volleyball, spending time with my family, and traveling when I can.

How do you give back to your community?

I coach an approximate 100 player volleyball club team which is nearly year round.

Des Moines is a great place to work and live because of the short commutes and welcoming communities.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not helping customers?

In my free time, I enjoy running, solving crosswords, fixing things around the house, and spending time with my son in Columbus, Ohio.

How do you give back to your community?

I am passionate about giving back to my community by volunteering with The Salvation Army and Single Parent Provision, mentoring through CREW Iowa, and serving in board positions that support local impact and leadership development.
